We are a young and fresh kite school and kite station on one of the best spots at Ulcinjs big beach, Velika Plaza, in the south of the still wild and beautiful Montenegro. Kitespot Montenegro and Kite Station with Storage
Ulcinj's Velika Plaza is known as one of the most beautiful and extensive kite spots in Europe. With a lenght of 14 km the huge beach stretches from Ulcinj to the estuary of the Bojana River and is never crowded.
Thermal winds ensure very stable conditions throughout the summer months from May until end of September. From midday the wind is almost always blowing side-on-shore from the north-west with approx. 15 - 25 knots and offers optimal and safe conditions for kitesurfing.
Everything is possible, whether with a twin tip, surfboard or hydrofoil. Also Wingfoiling, the new trend sport which is finding more and more fans, is being practiced here. And if you prefer fresh water, you can also surf in the estuary or even the lagoon of the Bojana river - you will be there in less than 10 minutes from our spot.
Everyone is welcome on this wonderful beach, whether you are a beginner or an expert, whether you are single, a couple or a family. Velika Plaza has something for everyone.
Our kite station "Kitebuddies" is characterized by a very good location on the huge beach, lots of space and good access to the sea. Rocks, sea urchins or other obstacles are not to be found.
Getting there isn’t a problem, either. You can reach us after turning off the main road via a direct, well-graveled access road.
You can also camp at the station itsself by prior arrangement or you can rent one of the accommodations which we personally recommend. They are characterized by their special location, individuality and quality.

The beach bar of the "Ohana Kite Beach" (formerly Corona Kite Beach) is available for your physical well-being.
The friendly service team will spoil you with all kinds of drinks, various freshly prepared dishes and comfortable beach chairs, beach beds and an open-air restaurant.

We are here for you! And in a way that you will achieve the best learning progress possible, adapted to your individual needs. And thereby gaining more and more joy in this wonderful sport.
From the first step to the moment when you will kite independently and safely. We train with certified instructors either individually or with two students at the same time.
Without lots of "bla bla". But with hands on training and a lot of helpful hints and tricks. We will teach you how to get onto the board, quickly and how to go upwind.
We offer you an wide training program with services tailored to your needs. We're living by the motto "class instead of mass".
Also the material is brand new. We teach you with the latest equipment from Airush and Prolimit. If you wish, you can rent it after the course to reduced rates.
